The Muhlenberg County Rails to Trails is an extremely popular, six-mile trail that links, Greenville, Powderly, and Central City. The multi-use, handicapped accessible trail also includes a covered bridge, antique caboose and rest areas. This unique trail is paved for hikers, bikers, rollerbladers and horseback riders. In addition, you can see sightings of rare birds and animals in their natural habitats as you explore the trail from Greenville to Central City.

The Sue & Brown Badgett Center opened in 2020. This state-of-the-art, $4 million indoor sports complex is home to local leagues, including youth basketball, adult volleyball, pickleball, and several volleyball camps. It is also home of the Muhlenberg County High School Mustang Archery Team.
