LAKE MALONE, KY โ The Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission is gearing up for Dock Trot 2026 and is excited to bring back this fun, annual event to Lake Malone! The event is set for Saturday, September 19th with a crowd-pleasing line-up of live entertainment.
‘Boats on Parade’ kicks off the event with a splash at 2:15 PM at the Lake Malone State Park Marina. This is where boaters will grab their official Dock Trot swag to start the fun. Boaters are encouraged to dress up their boats and show off their creativity, think floaties, flags, flamingos, and full-on lake flair! Departure is at 2:45 PM as we parade our way to the Yellow Dock Trot Stop for the first live performance by Throwing Copper.

๐ Lake Malone Boat Storage Yellow Dock Trot Stop
Throwing Copper is a high-energy Western Kentucky cover band bringing the biggest hits from every genre and generation to the stage. From classic rock and county to pop, alternative and todayโs chart-toppers, Throwing Copper delivers a show that has something for everyone. Known for engaging performances, crowd interaction and a diverse setlist, the band keeps audiences singing, dancing and entertained from the first song to the last.

๐ Blue Dock Trot Stop
Local favorite Southline will kick off Dock Trot 2026 with an energetic performance sure to get the party started. Made up of familiar faces from across Western Kentucky, Southline delivers great music, high energy, and the kind of tunes that will have everyone dancing in their boats. The band features Eric Harper, Joe Boggess, Eric Rager, and Drew Dukes, and they can often be found performing at events throughout the region. Don’t miss this talented local group as they bring the soundtrack to an unforgettable Dock Trot stop!
6:00โ7:30 PM โ Cam Thompson
๐ Tennessee Valley Authority Orange Dock Trot Stop
Cam Thompson is an alt-country artist from Owensboro, blending gritty storytelling with rock and roll energy and a Southern Edge. With over 1 million streams, driven largely by his breakout track โWomen Made Me This Wayโ, heโs quickly built momentum both online and on stage. Cam has headlined shows for crowds of up to 10,000 and has opened for artists including Ole 60, ERNEST, Chris Young and the Kentucky Headhunters.
